This Privacy Policy explains how The Sport Intel ("we", "us") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information about you. It is designed to align with the EU/EEA General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, the Swiss nFADP, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (CCPA/CPRA), the South African Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), Brazil's Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD), Canada's PIPEDA, and Australia's Privacy Act.

4. Sharing

We share personal data only with processors acting on our instructions:

We do not sell personal information. Under CCPA/CPRA, we do not "sell" or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

5. International transfers

Data may be processed outside your country, including the EU/EEA, UK, US, and South Africa. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (EU/UK), the UK IDTA, or equivalent safeguards, and for POPIA on section 72 conditions.

6. Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active and for up to 30 days after deletion for backups. Usage logs are kept for up to 12 months.

7. Your rights

Submit requests at /dsr or by email. We verify identity before responding. We aim to respond within 30 days (45 days for CCPA, extendable).

8. Children

The service is not directed to children under 16 (or the age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Security

We use TLS in transit, encryption at rest, Row-Level Security in the database, and least-privilege access. No system is 100% secure.

10. Changes

We will post changes here and, for material changes, notify you in-app or by email.

11. Complaints

You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority — e.g. your EU Member State DPA, the UK ICO, the South African Information Regulator, Brazil's ANPD, or the California Privacy Protection Agency.
